We are all over-stimulated. Everyone who has a smartphone is aware of the ton of notifications and content that we consume every day, more often than not this content isn't very useful.
This exercise prompted us to think about the fastness of the internet and how the current generations are spoiled with the responsiveness of the systems around us. What if you were prompted to slow down? A space purposefully made to engage the analytical, more processing-heavy, Systems 2 thinking?
Taking hints from the subversion exercise, I designed the most annoying shopping cart checkout form. We activate our Systems 2 thinking during filling out personal details on check out forms. This web form pushes that idea to the extreme. Really, it's pretty annoying.
